Spool are Sean Gaffey (guitar and vocals), Christophe Capewell (piano, fiddle and vocals), Martina Gaffey (vocals, synth and percussion) and Conor Hayes (programming and slide guitar). Spool is a group that brings influences from Aphex Twin to Joni Mitchell together to create their own unique sound. They meld contemporary electronica with traditional instruments by integrating clicks and bass'n'beeps with evocative vocals, warm acoustic guitar, poignant violin, lap steel and piano. They have been playing and touring in cities and towns throughout Ireland and the U.K. since 2004.
